Bob Cobblestone loved overnight payday loans. He loved going into that lenders office knowing that within 24 hours or less, that lender was going to send one huge chunk of change his way. Here is one particular example of a time when Bob's affinity for negotiating led to one of the largest overnight payday loans in the history of time.

It all went down in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bob was there on vacation, and decided he could really use some extra spending cash. He walked downtown to the nearest lender, flashed his trademark smile, and stated his plea.

"Hi there," said Bob. "I know you don't normally offer overnight payday loans at this location, but I'm here on vacation and could really use the cash tomorrow. Think you can make an exception?"

The lender didn't know what to say. He had never been asked to break the rules like this, and he didn't want his boss to fire him. But how could he reject that smile? That friendly face? That charm? Those unfaltering negotiation skills? Clearly, this was a man deserving of a little rule bending,

"Oh sir," he replied, "we do offer overnight payday loans for very special customers, and you happen to be one of those customers!"

"Wonderful," exclaimed Bob Cobblestone.

And just like that,

Bob Cobblestone got a lender who didn't ever offer overnight payday loans to give him an overnight payday loan. And not only did he get him to give him an overnight loan - he got that lender to give him such a big loan that the lender had to close up shop for the rest of the week just to avoid running out of cash.
